Pashmina Roshan, daughter of filmmaker Rajesh Roshan and cousin of star Hrithik Roshan, is all set to make her Hindi film debut. Pashmina Roshan will be seen in the sequel of ‘Ishq Vishk‘, which starred Shahid Kapoor and Amrit Rao.
Who is Pashmina Roshan?
Ishq Vishk was a coming-of-age romantic comedy film starring Vishal Malhotra and Shenaz Treasury alongside Kapoor and Rao. Its remake Ishq Vishk Rebound will release after two decades. Rohit Saraf, Jibran Khan and Naila Grewal will also be seen in its sequel.
The plot has been updated to reflect the current time frame, and it now gives a fresh and sympathetic look at relationships in the Gen-Z generation.
On June 2, Tips Industries shared a first look at the sequel’s cast on social media, saying, “When love can be found on apps and lost on chat, you know it’s time for a change. ISHQ VISHK REBOUND it’s time to move on.”
Before giving the first look of Ishq Vishk Rebound, the video started with the Ishq Vishk poster, which had Saraf and Roshan in place of Kapoor and Rao and Khan and Grewal in place of Malhotra and Treasury.
Pashmina Roshan also posted about the video on her Instagram account saying, “Looks like years of penance and hard work are finally paying off. I am super excited, nervous to bring you my first screen experience.

Who is Pashmina Roshan?
Pashmina was born on November 10, 1995 and will be celebrating her 27th birthday in 2022. She is the daughter of filmmaker Rajesh Roshan and his wife Kanchan Roshan.
Rajesh Roshan is one of the most famous Indian Hindi cinema music directors and composers. She is the granddaughter of music director Roshan and singer Ira Roshan. She is the cousin sister of Hrithik Roshan. He also has a brother named Ishaan Roshan.
According to a report, Pashmina’s background is from theatre. She studied with Abhishek Pandey, a theater artist; Nadira Babbar, an actor-director and Sahitya Natak Akademi Award recipient; and Jeff Goldberg, an American author.
Pashmina made its first stage appearance in an Indianized rendition of Oscar Wilde’s play The Importance of Being Ernest. Apart from her time in theatre, she has also completed a six-month acting course at Barry John’s Acting School, Mumbai.
Pashmina used to keep her social media accounts private, but now she has a public Instagram page with more than 9K followers. Many stars have praised her and wished her all the best in her recent post about her debut.
Hrithik’s father, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, soon after uploading the first look of Pashmina, wished “Congratulations everyone, looking forward…”.
