Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z are extremely private when it comes to their kids, rarely sharing photos or updates related to Blue Ivy (10) and their 5-year-old twins Sir and Rumi. The boundaries that the Lemonade singer sets make it especially exciting for fans when fans get a glimpse of the little ones.
like in BTS footage of Beyoncé’s Disney+ visual experience Black Is King or when Blue Ivy 2022 Attended his mother’s performance at the Academy Awards. , This latter appearance is again grabbing everyone’s attention, with fans going crazy over Blue Ivy’s dance moves in side-by-side videos.
Bey’s mother Tina Knowles shared a post on Instagram that shows Blue Ivy dancing to “Be Alive,” next to a video of the child singer of Beyoncé’s Oscar-nominated song King Richard’s Destiny from 30 years ago. All kinds of moves were going on. She noted how they were “twins,” and joked that Beyoncé gave birth herself. See below the similarities between mother and daughter:
Video of Blue Ivy copying mom Beyoncé’s dance moves goes viral,
It was already cool to see Blue Ivy perform on stage while her mom sang at the Oscars, but it’s straight-forward to see how Beyoncé’s dance moves will be inherited by her daughter. That family should share the most on-tempo genetics out there.
Apparently the Internet agreed with Tina Knowles’ assessment that her granddaughter is “killing it”, as many fans shared their love of watching her mother’s energy channel Blue Ivy:
- Definitely reincarnated 😍😍 her goooooo blue 🔥🔥🔥 — the_regal_mane
- So TRUE!! She Got Her Moves!! #BlueIVY💙 — shantasomerville
- Blue ivy did it better 🤷🏾♀️🗣😂❤️ — leecebby
This is not the first time that mother-daughter equality has been pointed out. Back when Blue Ivy was 7, Beyoncé shared side-by-side photos of the kiddo and herself at the same age to show just how much similarity they share. In Tina Knowles’ post alluding to the mother-daughter choreography connection as well as their looks, one commenter (possibly jokingly) couldn’t even explain who was in the video, saying:
Which is which? Is Blue on the right?
Yes, in case you’re thinking the same, Blue is on the right. The 10-year-old has shown an ability to steal the spotlight from her superstar parents for years now, of course. A clip of Camila Cabello ordering her parents to stop clapping during her 2018 Grammy speech went viral, and she’s also been known to divert attention from the stage during her parents’ concerts. Did we really expect anything less from the “Run the World (Girls)” singer’s daughter?
So should fans expect to see Blue Ivy and the other Carter kids following in their mom and dad’s footsteps? Jay-Z discussed that topic a few years ago, saying that growing up in a loving environment is more important than trying to force them into a specific business plan.
It honestly seems like the best answer a father could give, because it means that as we see Beyoncé and her two younger siblings look alike in the future, we know it must have been her decision and her passion.
