Stranger Things Season 4 Part 2: After nearly three years of waiting, Stranger Things fans can finally rejoice that Season 4 has arrived on Netflix.
Well, most of it. As we already knew, Netflix split Season 4 into two parts. The first volume was released in May and Stranger Things Season 4 Part 2 is coming later this summer.
The new season is literally bigger and better than ever, with a total of nine episodes that last over an hour. It’s got some bang for your money when you consider how long we’ve had to wait for these episodes to release.
Stranger Things Season 4 Part 2
In the first volume of the new season, the gang finds themselves up against a new monster known as Vecna, and as they battle against the Upside Down’s latest threat, they learn a lot about the origins of the Upside Down. All reveal new important details.
Unfortunately, the grand finale of Season 4 will not take place in June 2022. Stranger Things Season 4 Part 2 wasn’t included in Netflix’s full list of newly released shows and movies of the month, but the good thing is we don’t have a long wait ahead of us.
Stranger Things season 4 part 2 release date
Stranger Things Season 4 Part 2 will be released on Friday, July 1, following the release of the first seven episodes on May 27.
Netflix opted to split the season into two segments due to the length of the episodes, as previously stated it is over. One hour per episode.
Stranger Things Season 4 Part 2 will consist of two episodes. Obviously, this is an unconventional number of episodes to be released in the “half” of a season, but episode 8 clocks in at closer to an hour and a half, while the ninth and final episode clocks in at 2 hours and 30 minutes.
But the second segment of Season 4 isn’t what all Stranger Things fans can look forward to. Netflix has already renewed the series for season 5, which will be the last season.
Although The Duffer Brothers have promised that the break between Seasons 4 and 5 will not be as long as Seasons 3 and 4, it is still unclear when the season will drop.
