Redmi K50i 5G: Putting a brake on all the rumors, Redmi has confirmed the launch of its latest smartphone Redmi K50i 5G in India. The company did not share any information other than the launch date.
The Redmi K50i 5G is thought to be a rebranded version of the Redmi 11T Pro, launched in China. The smartphone is expected to be offered in two RAM variants. Let’s find out what the features of this smartphone will be.
Redmi K50i 5G will launch on July 20
Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has confirmed on Twitter that the phone will hit the Indian market on July 20. The company has not provided any official information about the specification of the phone.
The Redmi K50i 5G phone will have a 6.6-inch Full HD + IPS LCD display
The Redmi K50i 5G smartphone can be given a 6.6-inch full HD + IPS LCD display, its refresh rate is 144Hz and peak brightness is 650 nits.
The Redmi K50i-5G phone can use an octa core MediaTek Dimension 8100 SoC processor, which can be paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. This smartphone will run on Android 12. The phone has dimensions of 163.6×74.3×8.8mm and weighs 200 grams.
The Redmi K50i 5G will have a 64-megapixel primary camera
The Redmi K50i-5G smartphone can be setup on the back with three cameras, which will have a 64-megapixel primary camera. The camera setup also includes an eight-megapixel ultra wide angle sensor and a two-megapixel macro sensor.
For selfies and video calling, a 16-megapixel camera can be provided on the front of the phone. The phone is powered by a 5,080mAh battery that will support 67W fast charging.

The Redmi K50i-5G smartphone is offered in India in two storage variants 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. Specific information about the price of the phone has not yet come to light.
The Redmi Note 11T Pro was introduced in three storage variants, with the base variant priced at 6GB RAM and 128GB storage priced at CNY 1,799 (Rs. 20,952). The 8GB + 128GB storage is priced at CNY 1,999 (Rs. 23,276) and the 8GB + 256GB storage is priced at CNY 2,199 (Rs. 25,604).
